Introduction
At CodeBuySell, we strive to provide a platform for vendors, affiliates, and customers to buy and sell digital game source codes and related assets responsibly, ethically, and legally. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the standards of behavior and usage that all users of our platform must follow. By engaging with CodeBuySell in any capacity—whether as a vendor, affiliate, customer, or visitor—you agree to abide by this AUP, which supports our commitment to a lawful, secure, and copyright-compliant marketplace. CodeBuySell is dedicated to providing a secure, trustworthy marketplace for buying and selling high-quality digital products, specifically game source codes and related assets. This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the guidelines, responsibilities, and restrictions we require all users to follow to ensure a compliant, safe, and legally sound environment. CodeBuySell adheres strictly to copyright laws, digital commerce regulations, and industry standards, reflecting our commitment to protecting intellectual property, supporting ethical business practices, and fostering a professional digital ecosystem. Violation of this AUP may result in account suspension, termination, or legal action, in line with our compliance obligations with payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, and other financial processors.
General Requirements
Our Acceptable Use Policy applies to all services, products, and digital assets (collectively, “Products”) provided by CodeBuySell under any agreement, and it serves to safeguard all parties from unethical, irresponsible, or illegal activities. CodeBuySell maintains the right to remove content, terminate accounts, or report any suspicious activity that violates this policy.
Compliance with Copyright and Intellectual Property Laws
CodeBuySell strictly respects copyright laws and intellectual property rights. As such:
- Original Content: Vendors are permitted to upload only original products that they own or have full legal rights to distribute.
- No Unauthorized Reselling: Reselling or repurposing any product that is not originally owned or created by the vendor is prohibited. Vendors caught reselling products without authorization will receive warnings, and repeated violations will result in account suspension.
- Three-Strike Policy: Vendors will receive a strike for any violation, such as reselling unauthorized products. Upon receiving three strikes, the vendor’s account will be suspended. This policy reflects our commitment to copyright law, and appeals for strikes will be reviewed to ensure fairness.
- DMCA Compliance: CodeBuySell respects the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and responds promptly to takedown notices. We reserve the right to remove any listings flagged for copyright infringement and may report serious violations to legal authorities.
Product Standards and Responsibilities
Vendors and Affiliates: Vendors and affiliates are solely responsible for the products and content they upload, promote, and distribute on the platform. This includes ensuring that:

- Prohibition of Cloning Without Reskin: Vendors may not upload cloned games or apps that directly mimic another game or violate another entity’s intellectual property rights. CodeBuySell strongly advises vendors to reskin and modify digital products to avoid copyright infringement.
- Prohibited Content: Digital products must not contain illegal, obscene, or explicit content, including but not limited to graphic violence, hate speech, discrimination, or pornography. CodeBuySell reserves the right to remove any product or listing that violates these standards.
